Make ups of a true friendship.

Remember that time you really needed to talk about something bothering you which you can’t tell anyone else, who do you go to…your friend right?

No man is an island, one needs to make friends and that makes life worth living. Personally, I love making friends and meeting new people, it’s just one of the things I enjoy doing. Thought about the friends I have, had and the ones am going to meet in the near future and I decide to write about friendships. My maths teacher once said in class that the best friends we make are the ones we made from childhood(when we were all innocent)

Pinky Swear, Friends, Pinky Promise

However, the fact is that none of your friends is a mistake (whether good or bad), we need friends because each of them brings new experiences into our lives, friendships come in many forms viz; childhood friends, school friends, neighborhood  friends, boyfriends, girlfriends and of course the college friends. All this group of friends adds a lot to our lives; with my girlfriends around I feel okay and cool/happy, I have people to go out and mingle with, people to rock and roll with and with college friends ;I never get bored at school because we discuss so many topics and we argue over so many topics too,go to eateries together and have fun.

Each of the friendships we create today also contributes to who we are and that’s why we work hard to make friendships work because it takes a friend to make a friend.

“A good friend is like a four-leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have”

When you eventually find a good friend, don’t hold him/her with a loose hand hold em tight!

An adage quotes; a good friend is better than an evil brother. Finding good friends is what we wish for but that’s hard to find but if found, it is the most expensive gift though priceless. I would love to share some of my favorite friendship quotes with y’all.

Inspiring friendship quotes.

“Find a group of people who challenge and inspire you; spend a lot of time with them, and it will change your life.”

— Amy Poehler

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”

― William Shakespeare

“I get by with a little help from my friends.”

— The Beatles

“A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself  — and especially to feel, or not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at any moment is fine with them. That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is.”

― Jim Morrison

“If you wanna find out who’s a true friend, screw up or go through a challenging time … then see who sticks around.”

— Karen Salmonsohn

“A true friend is someone who will always love you — the imperfect, the confused, the wrong you — because that is what people are supposed to do.”

— R. J. L.

Friendship isn’t about whom you have known the longest… It’s about who came, and never left your side…

A friend is someone who can see the truth and pain in you even when you are fooling everyone else.

Above all folks, friends are great to have but we have to be good friends before our friends can be good to us,introverts make friends too, friends helps us to fight boredom and some friends are great sources of inspiration too, there are four kinds of friends we meet in a lifetime:

  • The additives
  • The subtractors
  • The multipliers
  • The dividers

The additives just as the name sounds are there to add a whole lot to our lives, the subtractors are just like parasites they take a lot away from our lives, the multipliers are there to take our lives up to the next level where the dividers are there to break our lives into pieces.

Do some work here by classifying all your friends based on the above categories and know how far you have gone in your journey of friendship.

Shout out to all my good friends out there especially my bestie! y’all got my love!

Until next time folks….

Speedy!
